Public health concentrations and programs

Although there are common Generalist Public Health MPH programs, most MPH programs have a specialty track that you can study, also known as a concentration. The availability is wide-ranging, and some areas of study are more common than others.

Types of public health concentrations
Students who do want to focus their MPH on a particular concentration should seek programs that offer their intended area of study. This can help to direct their learning toward specific career paths or work environments.

The program cards/tables featured on this page were last updated in May 2026. For the most current program information, please refer to the official website of the respective school.
